TLC Pediatrics is a medium-size practice. We hope to stay mid-sized. Why? Well, this allows us to give our patients some of the advantages of a large practice, such as evening and weekend hours, and web-based services. Moreover, we do not share call with other practices. But it also helps patients get personal attention, and avoid that feeling of being "just a number".
We place a strong emphasis on patient and parent education. We utilize extensive resources, including those from the American Academy of Pediatrics, as well as those authored by our own doctors. We feel that, through education, we enhance the safety and well-being of our patients.
We have found that a significant number of our patients come from referrals through our existing families. We feel that this speaks to the strength of our doctors and our enduring commitment to quality care.
After hours phone calls to our office are handled by a well-trained pediatric nurse service. We are available to our patients 24 hours/day 7 days/week.
Our doctors have admitting privileges at Vassar Brothers Medical Center. Vassar is widely recognized as the leader in pediatric care in the Mid-Hudson Valley. Several pediatric specialists maintain office hours at Vassar, further enhancing the level of pediatric care.
